After the productive meeting with Deputy to the General Secretary of FSB, Mr. Rupert Thorne and members of his staff, the trade union movement, and in particular TUAC, ITUC and UNI has expressed in a letter their views about several issues related with the Financial Industry and part of the FSB action Plan. The main points in the letter are the discussions around the Basel III, Consumer Financial Protection, FTT, Regulation and G-SIFIs.



The letter also recognized the important of the participation of the workers on this discuss and express our intention to build a constructive and regular cooperation with FSB. UNI had been calling for a structured dialogue of unions representing financial workers with the financial supervisory agencies at national, regional and international level as well as international colleges of supervisors for finance multinationals.



A new costumer-orientated and risk-conscious business model, sustainable can be build and the employees of Financial Industries and their representatives are able to participate in any good model of cooperation.
