Geek postal Workers at their union conference being held today in Athens, passed unanimously a message of support to the Canadian Postal workers members of UPCE who are on strike. The dispute concerns Canada Post's attempt to stop administering sick leave and family leave and to have them replaced with an insurance scheme. The Greek workers were shocked to hear the attack on sick leave entitlements by Canada Post and sent a strong message of support to their fellow postal workers in Canada. Greek Postal Union President, Georges Vassilopoulous told the conference, workers around the world must stand up to injustices if Canada Post is trying this which postal company will be next?
