OESIC, UNI's affiliate in Greece, has expressed the disagreement with the legislation dealing with the licensing of presently illegal online gambling internet sites proposed by the Greek government. Some changes in the gambling market are planned without consulting the unions.



OESIC has submitted a resolution asking the government to ban the illegal operators as well as to establish the gambling supervision commission with participation of trade union representatives. The resolution (in English, Spanish, French and German) is attached.



UNI europa Gaming supports its Greek affiliates and asks the Greek government to include the unions in the discussion on the gambling legislation.



OESIK is the Hellenic federation of casino employees' unions representing around 5.000 employees in Greece.
