The company commits to developing a constructive social dialogue with the union and to make every effort to resolve problems jointly.



They furthermore commit to comply with local legislation, internationally recognised labour standards and to abide by the IKEA values.



Employees are free to exercise their right to become a union member without fear from retaliation or dismissal.



Koop-Is will also inform all IKEA employees of these commitments.



With this letter and commitment from Mapa the public action that was planned to take place this Sunday, 6 May was called off.
