Australians are facing the biggest attack on the Australian Fair Go, and all the things that union members have fought for throughout Australia's history. The conservative government is proposing an austerity budget that will see cuts to education, unlimited fees for university students, the end of universal health and attacks on pensioners and the unemployed. Meanwhile, the wealthiest individuals and corporations will benefit enormously from the budget changes.

UNI affiliates from around the world have sent their messages of solidarity by chanting 'Bust the Budget'. The video will be shown at the demonstrations and actions being held this week to 'Bust the Budget'.
