The liaison comity of the Commerce trade unions in Paris ( CLIC-P) composed of the trade union organizations: CGT, CFDT, FO, CFTC, CGC and Sud had called the commerce workers to demonstrate on 30 June 2010, first day of summer sales, to fight against the deregulation of timetable, opening on Sundays and public holidays, low salary and precarious work.





This was a great success: 400 demonstrators marched from "La Bourse du Commerce" to the major Parisian retail stores.

The outcome of this demonstration: 6 members of CLIP-P were welcomed in the Ministries of Finance and Economy, by the chief of the cabinet, Mr Novelli ( Secretary of state for Commerce).



Trade Unions have required an increase of minimum 200 Euros for everyone:



· No opening before 9.00 am and no closing after 7.30 pm

· Stop the increasing trend for Sunday opening

· Guaranteed rest during public holidays

· Right for part-time workers to increase their working time if they wish to
