Regardless to the 15 % raise of profits in 2011, a Swiss-based employment agency Adecco wants to shed over 500 positions from a total of 6.300. This would be a result of uniting the brands of Adecco and Adia.



The latest financial reports have shown the growth turnover of 13.0 percent in Britain and Ireland, 14.0 percent in Germany and Austria and 21.0 percent in emerging markets.



French trade unions are planning protest actions to show their disagreement with the company's decision. UNI TAW supports its French affiliates organising and representing Adecco employees in their fight for keeping jobs.
