The European social partners in the Personal Services sector, Coiffure EU and UNI Europa Hair and Beauty agreed to a European framework agreement on the protection of occupational health and safety in the hairdressing sector.



The European Framework agreement is considered as a crucial input for the improvement of health and safety in the hairdressing sector.



The European social partners regret the attempt of some European governments to prevent the Framework Agreement becoming legally binding, before even the European Commission has had the time to fully assess the reached Framework Agreement. The European social partners are appalled by this open attack on European Social Dialogue.
