Shop stuarts in multinational companies are often confronted with "compliance rules" or "codes of conduct" that might contradict or undermine applicable law in their country. How to deal with this situation? GPA-djp provides a comprehensive overview for their members. Whereas it has become fashionable for companies to pride themselves with their own CSR and compliance policy, sensitive issues like data protection, possible disciplinary measures and increased pressure for employees and even labour law are often left outside of management's considerations in this respect. The brochure explains the difference between CSR, compliance and codes of conducts. It includes concrete suggestions and a check list for shop stuarts, legal advice as well as a model collective agreement at company level on compliance. The brochure only exists in German language. UNI Europa Finance had signed a joint statemement on CSR in the banking sector in 2014 with the employers' federations in the banking sector and aims for affiliates all over Europe to implement it at national and company level.
