19 women from 5 UNI affiliates in Cote d'Ivoire in several sectors Commerce, Graphical, MEI, Post, and Telecom were trained in recruitment and organization skills from 6 to 8 October 2010 in Abidjan. For many of them, it was the first seminar of its kind. It helped them to learn about UNI and understand their role into their unions.

At the end of 3 days of work, women have taken the following resolutions:

- Develop a program to create / strengthen women's committees (not later than 10 November 2010

- Recruitment & organization (first information must reach UNI on 31december 2010

- Promote Decent Work

- Harassment awareness,

- HIV Aids,

Participate in union activities to increase its influence

- To network, initiate and / or discuss



Women are better trained and distributed mostly full of good will to meet recruiting and occupy their place in the sphere of association.
