PSAC, one of UNI Post & Logistics’ affiliate in Canada has informed Canada Post Corporation (CPC) on 13 November of a 72 hour strike notice. The strike is to start on 17 November if negotiations don’t lead to an agreed outcome.

PSAC members want to protest against the new short term disability system that CPC wants to impose. John Gordon, PSAC National president said that: “They (PSAC members) just want to protect the sick leaves and family leaves they have acquired in the past.”
