In their work programme for 2014-2015, EuroCommerce and UNI Europa, the social partners for the commerce sector, have decided to strengthen their cooperation and exchange of good practice on various issues related to health, safety and well-being of retail and wholesale employees at the workplace (included stress at work) and develop through  this more effective cooperation with relevant EU bodies such as OSHA (European Agency for Safety and Health at work).

EuroCommerce and UNI Europa have therefore decided to propose to the European Commission a project aimed at developing further the chapter of their work programme dedicated to health and safety. The project has been approved for funding and the social partners are looking for an external expert on health and safety.
