During the DHL Workers Week, UNI  affiliate SYNTRAPOST  took the opportunity to meet DHL workers in BURKINA FASO. SYNTRAPOST General Secretary Achilles Paré and the  Education Secretary Drabo K Severin were able to arrange a meeting with two DHL employees to highlight ITF/UNI’s work as a Global Union and what they do to help workers. The meeting highlighted, in particular, the activities that ITF/UNI are currently engaged in to support DHL Workers. 

During the meeting, campaign materials from UNI, as well as some newsletters from SYNTRAPOST were given to our DHL Comrades, who proved to be receptive and  happy to discuss several union-related matters.

These DHL workers were invited to contact UNI directly in order to receive further information which could help steer them in their future goal of defending workers’ rights.
