Bank Mandiri PT Dili, East Timor is a subsidiary of Bank Mandiri Indonesia operating since 2003 in East Timor. General Manager of Bank Mandiri PT Dili has terminated three loyal employees of the bank arbitraraly without any disciplinary enquiry. Two employees happened to be the Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Bank Mandiri PT Dili Trade Union. UNI affiliate SJT-TL in East Timor solidarity support to protest the banks arbitrary termination of employees for defending trade union rights. UNI affiliate in Indonesia ASPEK has sent a Protest letter tot the President Director of Bank Mandiri Head Quarters in Jakarta; requesting for immediate intervention for re-instatement of the three employees standing in solidarity with SJT-TL
