Dear Héctor:

We hope this letter finds you well.

We are totally shocked about the untimely closure of the Donnelley plant in Argentina, leaving more than 400 workers without jobs. As President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner stated yesterday, undoubtedly  the collusion between the company and the justice department (that in less than 48 hours granted a clearly fraudulent bankruptcy) is driven by vulture funds and financial power, that create terror to force the Argentine government  to negotiate in unacceptable conditions.

This is how vulture funds behave when they takeover companies: they are only guided by greed, selfishly seeking to make a profit at all costs. The same behaviour they want to impose on the Argentine people, which the government does not accept.

On behalf of UNI, UNI Graphical & Packaging, and the 4 million workers we represent in the region, we extend our support and solidarity with the Buenos Aires Graphics Federation, the workers and their families, and reiterate that we are at your complete disposal for anything you may need.
