This year the wages of TEO.LT employees increased by 13,3 %. The Lithuanian Trade Union of Communication Employees (LTUCE) initiated a meeting of the union reps and the management to discuss wages and other issues of employees' concerns - health and safety, qualification, working environment, etc.



According to the Vice-Chair Petras Ruskys, the union positively evaluated the average increase of wages by 13, 3 %. Around 77 % of the employees could benefit from this raise. The union also started negotiations for the raise in 2009.



TEO LT is the Lithuania's incumbent integrated telecommunication, IT, and TV services provider (monopolist until 2003) owned by Telia Sonera group. The company employs around 3.000 people.
