Andy Snoddy Head of UNI Graphical & Packaging welcomed the decision of Amcor Tobacco to grant de-facto union recognition and to begin negotiating the first collective agreement. He said “I congratulate the workers on their determination to stand up for their rights. It is this determination that has enabled them to endure such a long drawn out campaign”.







Union membership in the Turkish packaging plant has been well above the legal requirement of 50% for over a year and almost all shop floor workers are members.
