Dear brothers and sisters,

May 2015 find us together and united in solidarity. Working for inclusion and justice. Fighting for the rights of working men and women. With determination and energy to grow our unions.

This is the list of some of UNI Americas most important wishes: Justice for Prosegur Workers. Decent wages and labour rights in Walmart, and end abuses against American workers. Peace Agreement in Colombia, with full respect for human and union rights. Truth and Justice for the 43 from Ayotzinango: they took them alive, we want them alive. Bring the labour flexibility law to an end for youth in Peru, and make companies begin to respect the value of the human beings who work for them. That once and for all the Pinochet labour legislation be amended so that Chilean workers may have true freedom of association and collective bargaining, with full respect for the legitimate right to strike. And a very long list, full of wishes for social justice to reign in every corner of our beloved continent.

But our greatest request for New Year is that this list does not remain a wish: we want to have energy and determination to keep fighting for what is fair. For a world with inclusion, justice and peace.

Thank you brothers and sisters for the collaboration and solidarity that you have given us this year. Thank you for your courage when faced with difficult situations. Thank you for your humanity. Thank you for your affection.
