12.1% unemployed in € area: July 2013 showed no change in the unemployment rate.

Worst hit countries are Greece (27.6%), Spain (26.3%), Cyprus (17.3%), and Portugal (16.5%).

Youth unemployment in EU28 stands at 23.4% and 24% in the € area.

In July 2013, the highest youth unemployment rates were recorded in Greece (62.9%), Spain (56.1%), Italy (39.5%), and Portugal (37.4%).
