Meetings

Dear colleagues,

We would like to invite you to attend the trade union coordination meeting for the Liberty Global group, which will take place in Brussels, on 20 April 2017.

This trade union coordination meeting is organised in the framework of a cross-sectoral UNI Europa project on “The challenges of the digitalisation in the services industry: a new area for information, consultation, and participation rights of workers and transnational negotiations” and receives funding from the European Commission.

The main objectives of the meeting are the following

Strengthen cooperation between Liberty Global unions in Europe
Support the SNB process and the work towards a unionized EWC
Discuss union strengthening and organizing opportunities in Liberty Global in Europe
Discuss the impact of digitalisation (introduction of new technologies, working methods…) on Liberty Global workers in Europe
Discuss how the SNB process can be used to address these issues with the company
