Dear colleagues,

The European Trade union alliance meeting INDITEX will take place in Madrid, on 23 February 2016.

The aim of the meeting is to discuss and present the draft European Works Council agreement for the Inditex group.

Several preparatory meetings have taken place between UNI Europa, representatives of Spanish trade unions and management in the last 6 months. Before the company convenes the Special Negotiating Body according to the directive on EWCs, we would like to discuss the draft text with you. Ensuring a good trade union coordination in EWCs from an early start is one of the main priorities according to the UNI Europa Commerce policy on EWCs.

The meeting will start at 9am and it is expected to finish the same day at 4pm. A buffet lunch will be offered by UNI Europa.
