He thanked UNI Global Union and UNI LCJ, for having made donations and contribution to the relief effort in Australia.

Another key issue raised at this meeting was the preparations for UNI Congress at Nagasaki 2010. Bro. Takaaki Sakurada and the UNI Liaison Council of Japan are fully committed to make next year’s UNI Congress a huge success, “Let’s leave a strong footprint of UNI Global Union in Nagasaki 2010!”

As the region is the host for the World Congress next year, UNI Apro Regional Secretary, Bro. Christopher Ng, is committed to bringing a strong regional delegation to Nagasaki, in particular women and young workers.
