Innovation was the key focus of the third thematic workshop organised in Berlin by Creative Skills Europe– a joint initiative of European social partners in the Audiovisual and Live Performance sectors, led by UNI MEI. Hosted by the University of the Arts, the meeting gathered over 50 participants from across Europe to discuss how innovation in the digital environment is addressed in our sectors. Looking at the topic from different angles – training for innovation, training through innovative tools and methodologies, and demonstrating competences in innovative ways in the digital environment – the sessions allowed for the exchange of good practices and the exploration of future cooperation partnerships at national and European levels. The next Creative Skills Europe workshop, which will look at the potential of social dialogue to develop training opportunities in our sectors, will take place in Paris on the 4th and 5th of June 2018.
