The 5th UNI Apro ICTS Conference was successfully held in Kuala Lumpur on 25-27 August 2017. Reflecting the overall theme “Determined and Prepared”, the conference’s discussions focused on organising in the future world of work and regional economic integration. Nearly 80 delegates and observers from 15 countries across the Asia region were in attendance.

The two day conference developed strategic responses to address these challenges and ensure decent jobs in a digital society. Two motions were adopted: Solidarity with Bangladesh and Solidarity with T-Mobile US Workers. The UNI Apro ICTS Strategic Action Program for the period 2017-2021presented by Bro Kun Wardana, Director for UNI Apro ICTS, was also adopted by the conference delegates.

Brother Minao Noda, President of ICTJ Japan was re-elected unanimously at the conference as President of UNI Apro ICTS.
