The UNI Europa Executive Committee at its 22nd meeting, which took place in Brussels on 1 December 2016, stated its support for the struggle of the Spanish contact centre workers, who are demanding a worthy collective agreement with a correct salary.

After 22 months of struggle to renew the sectoral collective agreement without any positive results and after two days of strike (with massive worker participation), the employers still refuse to increase salaries, many of which are for the moment less than €700 a month. The majority of these contracts are temporary, and there is more and more subcontracting through temporary work agencies or multiservice companies.

RESOLUCIÓN EN APOYO A LA INICIATIVA DE NUESTROS AFILIADOS ESPAÑOLES PARA LOS TRABAJADORES DE LOS CONTACT CENTRES

El Comité Ejecutivo de UNI Europa, en su 22ª reunión, celebrada en Bruselas el 1 de diciembre de 2016, manifestó su apoyo a la lucha de los trabajadores y trabajadoras  españoles de los Contact Centres, que exigen un convenio colectivo digno con un salario correcto.

Después de 22 meses de lucha por renovar el convenio colectivo sectorial sin resultados positivos y después de dos días de huelga (con una masiva participación de los trabajadores), la patronal sigue negándose a aumentar los salarios, que por el momento muchos no superan los 700 € al mes. La mayoría de estos contratos son temporales, y cada vez hay más subcontratación a través de empresas de trabajo temporal o de multiservicios.
