The Trade Union Alliance of Call Centers and telephone operators from the Americas, gathered in São Paulo, Brazil, under the coordination of UNI (Uni Global Union), therein represented by their Unions and national Federations, express their full support and solidarity to the Brazilian people at this moment of political uncertainties and economic instability, having their democracy currently at risk due to the attempted coup imposed by conservative and reactionary sectors of society, who seek the approval of the impeachment of President Dilma Rousseff void of a legal basis, within the clear intent of interrupting the progressive government project directed to social inclusion and income distribution initiated in 2002 by former President Lula and subsequently continued by President Dilma.
