During today's National March to Congress convened by La Bancaria, the workers were harshly repressed by the Federal Police and gendarmerie officers, while President Mauricio Macri inaugurated the opening sessions in parliament.

When the mobilization tried to walk along Avenida de Mayo toward the Congress, they faced struggles and physical attacks. La Bancaria's General Secretary, Sergio Palazzo, and all the national secretariat that led the march were attacked with tear gas.

The march continued and finished with an event demanding the reinstatement of the dismissed workers from the Central Bank and Banco Provincia, the defense of jobs at Citibank, an appropriate salary raise, the repudiation of income tax, and strongly condemning the repression of social protest.
