UNI Gaming is closelly following the privatisation plans of Holland Casino which is planned to happen in 2017. Early last year, the Dutch Ministry of Security and Justices announced a public consultation on a draft proposal of the Modernization Casinos Regime Act. This draft legislative proposal must reform the Dutch casino market and privatize Holland Casino.

Holland Casino is the only legal provider of casino games in the Netherlands. The company has 14 land-based casinos employing about 3000 workers.

FNV, one of UNI's affiliates in the company, organised three strikes last year. At the moment, they are in negotiations over privatisation terms and conditions in Holland Casino.
