UNI APRO Youth Scaling New Heights workshop started on 9th October 2015 at the Makati Diamond Residences, Manila, Philippines for 60 dynamic young unionists from Asia Pacific Region, in collaboration with The Federation of Information and Communication Technology Service Workers of Japan (ICTJ).

The workshop was enlightened by the valuable speeches of Brother Jun Umali (President UNI PLC), Brother Christopher Ng (Regional Secretary UNI APRO), Sister Michelle Belino (President UNI APRO Youth) and a special keynote speech from Brother Kenji Shibata (General Secretary ICTJ).

Sister Alice Chang, Director for Youth Activities UNI APRO, briefed detailed workshop procedure and methodology. 

Sixty participants including ten resource person representing Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam, Sri Lanka and participants from SDA, Australia were divided into six different operational groups i.e. Social & Fun, Report, Marketing, Payatas, Solidarity Nite and Organizing with their role and responsibilities for entire workshop.
