DPDHL EWC in solidarity with ver.di on Deutsche Post dispute
The extended Presidium of the DPDHL European Works Council which met on 19-21 May 2015 issued a solidarity statement as it noticed that DPDHL Group has moved away from the principle of Social Partnership.
Following disputes in e.g. India, Turkey and Colombia the DPDHL board has now opened the battle against ver.di and the employees of Deutsche Post AG.
The company has withdrawn from the proven practice of social dialogue and focuses entirely on profit maximization.
The Presidium of the EWC, declared its solidarity with ver.di and all employees joining strike actions in the current disputes.
The Presidium wishes all colleagues courage, energy and success. The Presidium called on the board of DPDHL to return to the proven path of Social Partnership.
