The European social partners of the Agriculture, Cleaning, Construction, Horeca and Security services sectors have sent a joint position to Members of the European Parliament regarding the proposal for a decision on establishing a European Platform to enhance cooperation in the prevention and deterrence of undeclared work.

We highly welcome the intention to establish an EU Platform to enhance cooperation in the prevention and deterrence of undeclared work, as the proposal of the Commission explicitly indicates our sectors as having a high incidence of undeclared work.

It is now vital to ensure that our sectors are actively involved in the activities of the future Platform.
