The agreement, composed by four important chapters, which includes Occupation, Collective Bargaining, Welfare an Industrial Relations was signed by the unions, in Italy. According the evaluation of the unions that signed the agrement, “This is the first step of a surely complex path but and, in our opinion, it is a good start to protect the workers and their rights”.

Beside of other important rights, a plan for the voluntary early retirement of 2,400 workers, who will leave as soon as they are eligible for pension and who will be added to the remaining 400 workers from the previous agreements who leave by 2015, was putted in place and on 15th of October, the perceptual of volunteers that apply to the agreement were 99% of the expected amount, ensuring that they will be protected and retired, maintaining benefits that will be important to them in the future.

The agreement also provides a comprehensive improvement of the trade union relationship as well as, the extension to UNICREDIT group in all Italian territory, increasing the trade unions’ participation at national level.
