UNI is putting its weight behind “electing” Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos as the Worst Boss in the World!

Despite some stiff opposition from Walmart, JPMorgan and some other leading lights of pro-greed and anti-worker activities, we believe that Bezos deserves the accolade. Let’s make worker abuse at Amazon headline news.

Now is the time to vote Bezos the world’s worst boss! The “winner” will be announced at next week’s ITUC World Congress in Berlin.

Amazon treats its distribution staff like robots, forcing them to work under enormous stress for long hours in poor conditions, exposed by a recent BBC Panorama documentary – “The Truth Behind the Click”

“Workers at Amazon distribution centres are required to wear digital arm mounted terminals that monitor their every move. There are no agreed protocols about breaks and speed, and a culture of bullying and harassment is rife. Staff are reprimanded just for speaking to one another or even pausing to catch their breath.”(ITUC)
