On November 26, 2013 collective bargaining was achieved between the company and the union in MMP Chile, this union is affiliated to the National Graphical Confederation of Chile (Conagra). This collective bargaining highlights some very important aspects for workers, such as:

1 - For the first time there were negotiations in accordance with Chilean law in this matter and developing the process accordingly.

2 - The agreement improved the benefits already obtained in the previous agreement. (This is usually not a common practice in this country).

3 - . Parameters were established for workers considering voluntary retirement after 20, 25, and 30 years with the company.

4 - . The annual union trip was established as a recreational activity.

5 - Improved accuracy in applying the CPI increase (cost of living). This will now be done every four months; it used to be every six months.
 

6 – A bonus was established for closing de bargaining process, with amounts of 1100, 1440,1760 dollars in accordance with the years worked in the company.

7 – Increase in remunerations of 5% and 6 % in accordance with wages, plus section levelling.

8 - Contract duration 3 years.

Both the union in MMP and CONAGRA leaders value this agreement as an important victory for workers, in addition to reaching a successful negotiation through dialogue with the company’s representatives.
