The workshop gathered about 50 participants representing both employees and employers from both “old” and “newer” Member States, and dealt with topics such as employment structures in the bank sector, social dialogue structures on the level of collective bargaining agreements and social dialogue structures on company level - employer/works council agreements.



The workshop was organised by the European Banking Federation as part of a project financed by the European Commission. UNI-Europa Finance’s Vice-President Pia Desmet opened the meeting with a presentation on the work in the Bank Social Dialogue and the aims of the project.



The workshop was held on 10 March. The next workshop will be held in Prague.
