06/02/2008 - The second meeting of the project looked at European labour law and industrial relations practice at national level as well as UniCredit's sustainability report.



UNI Finance, which is involved in the project, welcomes the close cooperation between the workers' representatives in the EWC and management in enhancing the cooperation among the workers' side and the exchange with local and group management. UNI Finance's Oliver Roethig said: "UniCredit -- unions, workers' reps and management -- show the way to develop a framework for group-wide social dialogue. In today's world, multinational companies need a transnational framework for industrial relations."



The meeting took place in Milan/Italy from 14 to 16 May.
