The striking workers are stronger and hopeful than before with the solidarity coming from UNI, different countries, sister unions in Turkey, and ver.di from Germany.



One of the union members (who is the legally out of the scope of strike) was dismissed in second day of strike by violating Strike legislation. He told, "It was very difficult for me to be inside rather than outside. So I am going to join my striking friends outside the workplace. This was illegal dismissal and the employer will pay for this.”



The union members in the same industrial area never leave alone. Especially Rotopak Alcan workers visit after every shift. Rotopak Alcan is a company which was organised by Basin-Is just 2 years ago.



During the first 3 days the strike breaking workers employed without detection started to work although the security printing standards require very strict security detection. On the other hand the E-Kart Management force to the working employees to increase their daily work hours from 8 hours to 12 hours and more. Illegally gave the duties of the striking workers to the other employees. Among the nonmembers there is a positive intention to the unionization after the strike.

According to the strike regulation the employer should provide meal to the striking workers. However cynic E-Kart refused even this.

E-Kart workers and the union Basin-Is salute all the colleagues sending solidarity and messages from all around the world.



E-Kart workers told "This fight is our common fight and we are waiting your solidarity until we gain our common rights"
