Twenty trade unionists coming from 6 multinational companies of the graphical industry (Mondi, Donnelley, Mayr-Melnhof, Smurfit-Kappa, Tetrapack, Duropack) met in Krakow from 5 to 7 March 2009 with the view to set up and to reinforce the transnational trade union networks within each of these company. The objective of this meeting was to improve the participation of the Graphical Trade Unions of Eastern and Central Europe in these company networks and in the European Works Councils. For each company, a trade union action plan has been designed. The UNI-EG secretariat will be regularly informed of the implementation of these actions plans.
