SPPI members preparing for Postal Reform

The Workshop for SPPI on Postal Reform (SPPI – UNI-Apro) was held on 21st and 22nd March 2009 in Bandung, Indonesia with 40 participants. This was assisted by JPGY Kanto. The objectives of the workshop were to develop and strengthen a motivation of union officials and members and to develop knowledge about the problems which happen in the postal sector. Bro. Kuniyoshi, vice president of JPGU Kanto Regional HQ, delivered a key note speech on the privatisation of Japan Post and the postal union’s response. There were many questions to his presentation and Bro. Sato and Bro. Shinohara, executive committee members of JPGY Kanto, answered to them. All participants acknowledged about the changing which happens in the postal sector and the competition of the postal industry. Also they recognized the roadmap of Pos Indonesia development. In addition, participants studied about the Asia Pacific situation in the postal industry change, and learned the right direction to enhance and anticipate the business way. |
