On 21^st July 2009, UNI Apro met up with the National News Agency Antara from Jakarta to show their appreciation to Antara and its employees union SPA which had signed a working agreement for employees’ welfare – the Antara News reported.



The event was attended by Joseph de Bruyn, Christopher Ng, and Kun Wardana. UNI Apro believes in the management leadership of Antara in establishing good communication with its workers union, which brings about the legal certainty for the Agency’s journalists and employees.



One of the highlights of the discussion among the leaders of UNI Apro and Antara is the confidence that everyone have of Indonesia’s safety despite the bombing attacks just four days before. Also, UNI Apro also expressed its optimism and confidence over the situation in Indonesia indicating that the workers and unions in Indonesia generally experienced significant improvement compared with that in other parts of the Asia-Pacific region.
