The decision was announced on October 2 in Berlin. The merger would happen with the the current discussions if the German government should introduce a nationally binding minimum wage for temporary employees as well as equal pay for equal work. Now there are three employer organisations (BZA, AMP and iGZ) with different minimum wage agreements. Since BZA and AMP would jointly represent 70% of temporary employees, they could ask the government to make their joint minimum wage legally binding for all temporary employees in Germany.
