Members of UNI Graphical & Packaging met with Senior Management representatives of Kimberly-Clark in Atlanta.

Representing the union were Lewis Peacock, USW, Peter Ellis UNITE, Andrew Nortje, South Africa, Antonio Sanchez Moreno, Spain,,Amnuay Iemraksa, Thailand, Onn Bin Mansor, Malaysia, Induigues Ferreira Martins, Brazil, Marvin Largaespada, Panama, and Steve Walsh Head of Department UNI G.



Kimberly-Clark was represented by Bill Bombardier, Director, Labour Relations and HR Vice Presidents, Garry Oosthuizen, Ramiro Garces and Rick Purdy.



The parties affirmed their commitment to maintaining a respectful relationship based on proactive sharing of information and finding solutions to issues and opportunities associated with Corporate Social Responsibility and Workplace Rights.



UNI Graphical and Kimberly Clark are now in the process of establishing union and management regional “points of contact” to facilitate the communication process, with a commitment to meet at least once every calendar year.



The parties had previously met on three occasions, since July 2008.
