The Anti Privatization Action Committee of Pakistan Post, held a further protest rally today in front of the Main Karachi GPO on I.I. Chundrigar Road . All workers from the GPO, which numbered in the thousands, participated in the rally with the participants holding banners and placards with slogans against the proposed privatisation plan. Mr. Asadullah Khan, Member Anti Privatization Action committee and General Secretary, All Pakistan Postal DMOs Employees and Workers Union (CBA) spoke to the rally and deplored the privatisation and demanded that the Pakistan Government abandon the program which will ultimately result in the loss of thousands of postal workers jobs all over Pakistan.
