Message to UNI LCJ Youth

Dear Sisters and Brothers,

The media shows us just in a few details the horrible effects you are faced to after the devastating earthquake and the tsunami. We follow the news with full care and also about the destroyed nuclear power station.

In the name of the UNI-Europa Youth I want to let you know our sympathy is with you and your families and friends human loss. We regret your loss of your homes and possessions. Be sure: You have the fully support by UNI-Europa Youth and our affiliates.

Our unions already talk about what they can do to support you. We and our union members follow calls for donations, which supports the humanitarian organisations like the Japanese Red Cross and organisations which will work on the rebuilding of Japan.

But I'm sure we can do more. Please let us know how UNI Europa Youth can support you in this difficult period.

Our thoughts are with you during this hard time for you, the people in Japan, the workers, our sisters and brothers. We wish you power and bravery for rebuilding your country.
