Industrial action at Sri Lanka Telecom was called off, following the commencement of negotiations between the trade union alliance and the Sri Lanka Telecom management. A MOU was signed as a settlement to the issues raised by the unions in the presence of the Commissioner of Labour Industrial Relations on 10th August 2011.
