UNI Europa ICTS and PIN SME (the association of SME employers in the ICT sector) have been working on a EU funded project to promote social dialogue and to build partnerships between employers' and employees' organisations in the ICT sector. Part of the projet outcomes is a study, carried out by the Fondazione Politecnico di Milano, that provides a thourough mapping of the relevant stakeholders in the sector at local, national and European level. The study provides an overview about what the sectorial context across Europe looks like; what kind of associations there are in each country to represent employers and workers and what the situation is regarding existing social dialogue at national and European level. The aim of the study is to identify associations that could be possible partners for a future social dialogue in ICT. It should be seen as a tool that can help us advance towards a better cooperation of sector stakeholders. Though the current project is closed and therefore the research finalised, we invite UNI Europa ICTS affiliates to read the study and to provide us with additional information on organisations or existing social dialogues that are not yet covered by the research.
