AIBOBEF gear up members in January
Following the AIBOBEF settlement which elevated many part time employees to full time positions, the Mumbai Unit of AIBOBEF did a hat trick by organising programs for 3 consecutive Saturdays in January 2014.
A get-together for new recruits was organised on 11 January 2014 for employees who have joined the Bank of Baroda in the last three years. The event received a good turn up of both members and non-members who had close interactions with AIBOBEF Gen Secretary, Milind Nadkarni who patiently answered all their queries. Senior office bearers were also present and introduced themselves to new entrants who left pleased and promised to bring in more members.
A program exclusive to women was held on 18 January 2014 and was graced by General Manager (HRM), Sis.Vindhya Ramesh. The excited ladies also made plans to celebrate International Women’s Day. Participants were then treated to a cultural performance which sweetened the day.
The annual scholarship award ceremony was organised on 25 January 2014 for children of union members to motivate them towards further excellence in their studies. The program also felicitated AIBOBEF staff who had retired in the year 2013. Taking the opportunity to address young people, AIBIOBEF encouraged young members to organise their colleagues so that they may also be represented.
