We have the pleasure to invite you to the UNI-Europa P&MS Conference, which will take place in Tallinn on 3, 4 and 5 December 2008. The Conference is co-financed by the European Commission.
The theme of the Conference will be "Web 2.0 and Online Rights”

Interpretation
During the conference, an active interpretation will be provided in English, French, German and Estonian. Passive interpretation will also be provided in Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and Swedish

The cost of a Reval class single room is EUR 85.00 breakfast included (Reval class double room: EUR 95.00)
Reval Hotel Olümpia is the most elegant business and conference hotel in the Baltic countries. Located in the city center, you are promised to find vitality, comfort, impeccable service and an inspiring atmosphere. The distance to the Tallinn International Airport is approximately 5 km.
The lunch on 3, 4 and 5 December and the dinner on 4 December will be offered. A cocktail reception will take place in the evening on 3 December after the first conference day.
Laptops and internet connection
The conference will involve practical exercises for participants to become familiar with Web 2.0 applications such as SecondLife, blogging, youtube, facebook, etc. For these exercises, which will be supported by professional instructors, participants are requested to bring along their own laptops. Free internet access is available everywhere in the hotel.
Participation
Please note that the EU Commission will reimburse the travel and accommodation costs for a maximum of 90 participants coming from the EU member states.
UNI-Europa IBITS emphasises the importance of affiliates sending delegation with the greatest possible level of diversity.
Reimbursement
Travel and accommodation costs will be reimbursed upon receipt of the request for reimbursement and will be carried out applying the following criteria:
• For flight tickets: on the basis of APEX fares,
• When traveling by train: 1st class train ticket will be reimbursed,
• When traveling by car: the equivalent of a first class train ticket (with document proving the price of the train ticket),
• Hotel: a maximum of 2 nights at the Hotel Reval Olümpia,
• Journeys have to be carried out in the most economic and shortest way,
• No taxi costs or any other extra costs will be reimbursed.
Upon registration, and in order to organise the reimbursement, the participants have to bring with them the following documents :
• their Expense Claim Form duly filled in and signed. Please note that we will not be able to reimburse your travel costs unless we have all necessary bank information.
• a photocopy of all their flight tickets (even of electronic tickets) with the cost mentioned on it, or with a copy of the invoice from the travel agency,
• the original boarding pass of their first journey, and other original tickets of public transport, if any (unfortunately taxi costs cannot be reimbursed).
We ask you to respect the starting and finishing time of the conference. Please note that reimbursement can only be made for the full participation in the conference. Please note that loss of earnings, daily allowances and insurance cannot be reimbursed.
Insurance Coverage
Please note that UNI-Europa cannot take out insurance for the participants. It is up to the union or the individual participant to conclude insurance. Participation in this conference is at your own risk.
