The Unique Trade Union of Workers of the Public Entertainment (SUTEP) and the Argentinean Parks and Fun Fairs and Entertainment Business Chambers (CAPA) signed a collective agreement giving to the entertainment’s workers an increase of 25% in their salaries. The Head of this trade union, Miguel Angel Paniagua (General Secretary of SUTEP) said that this increase will be a benefit to a whole of 3000 workers in the framework of Collective Agreement 497/07.



This improvement in their salaries will be implemented from June 2009 and will be break down in this way: from 1^st June 2009 to 30^th November 2009, the workers will obtain an increase of 20% non remunerative in their general salaries. From December 2009 in advanced, this increase will be part of the real salary and then it will be definitively add 5% from 1^st January 2010.



As Paniagua said “this brand-new agreement is a conquer that give us the answer to all of our demands in defending our right for a fair salary for all the workers of Parks and Fun Fairs and Entertainment around de country”.-

It is important to remember that SUTEP is conformed by the branches of: Radio, Cinema, Theatre, Electronic Games, Discos, Pubs, Luna Park, Bingos, Casinos, Gamming, bowlings, circus, and finally the branch Pensioned around the country.
