UNI europa commerce express its support for the strikes of 5 and 9 December at Alcampo organized by the Spanish workers and their unions FECOHT-CCOO and CHTJ-UGT affiliated to the European trade union federation UNI Europa.



According FECOHT-CCOO and CHTJ-UGT the new branch collective agreement they have refused to sign increases flexibility and workload in an unacceptable manner. It requires for e.g. to the workers to stay at work 10 hours a day, including the busiest days (weekends, Christmas, etc..) thus making it impossible for them to reconcile work and family life. Your company would be eager to use this agreement not to organizational or productive purposes to face difficult times but to increase your profits and force the manpower turnover at the expense of those who have acquired seniority.
